The site provides a massive resource of integrated content for food gardeners using organic methods. Our web site is recognised as a leading use of new technology to support food gardening and has an ever evolving pathway of new features to keep at it at the forefront of supporting our large and growing subscriber base.
Our consultancy services in urban food growing combine a mixture of hands-on education, growing space planning to urban agriculture planning and implementation strategy for communities and large organisations such as major property developers. Supporting the emergence of financially sustainable urban farming is one of our core goals.
The business commenced in 2006 and the first release of our web site was in mid 2008. The company was founded by Peter Kearney, an experienced organic and biodynamic gardener, educator and technologist. Skeptical Science is a non-profit science education organisation, run by a global team of volunteers.

The goal of Skeptical Science is to explain what peer reviewed science has to say about global warming. When you peruse the many arguments of global warming skeptics, a pattern emerges. Skeptic arguments tend to focus on narrow pieces of the puzzle while neglecting the broader picture. For example, focus on Climategate emails neglects the full weight of scientific evidence for man-made global warming. Concentrating on a few growing glaciers ignores the world wide trend of accelerating glacier shrinkage. Claims of global cooling fail to realise the planet as a whole is still accumulating heat. This website presents the broader picture by explaining the peer reviewed scientific literature.
