- Accident Statistics is the Statistical average of the reported accidents

A particular weather event is caused by climate change
- as we can say
A particular accident is caused by the accident statistics
- Any particular weather event becomes a data point in future climate statistics. It is within these statistics we see substantial trends. If the warming trend is considered, we can make broad predictions but not detailed ones. or it would be as if we said;
Given the rise in accident statistics we predict that this truck will have a head on with this car on this date.
