Paul Riordan (AuSES NSW member) is looking for one or two school teachers to give feedback on an idea for a sustainable learning activity. This idea has fund-raising potential. According to Paul, the input will only require 30-40 minutes. Please respond through the AuSES NSW Secretary.

The ATA and AuSES meeting are returning on the 2nd and Forth Tuesdays again in February.
Talks include Solar Hot water, Electricity and Off Grid
Entry $5 towards afternoon tea and expenses.
The talk will evaluate different types of collectors and systems and the best uses for each. Bryan and Taru will discuss evacuated tubes and the potential commercial applications including apartments, dairy farms, breweries and laundromats – taking solar hot water to another level.
Bryan Moss has worked with Apricus Australia for 3.5 years and with the Apricus product for 8 years. He started off as a plumber and has been in the industry for 19 years specializing in domestic solar hot water, solar/gas hydronic and underfloor systems and commercial hot water. Taru Veijalainen works for Apricus Australia in the engineering department, and she recently completed a double degree of Renewable Energy Engineering and Chemistry at UNSW.
